Lee Rosser will be back in the big State in July for a run of eight shows.
Blessed with a three octave vocal range and love of strange phrasing Lee has been something of a cult figure on the independent music scene for a number of years both in his former band “rambunctious,” and as a solo artist.
His debut solo album “Giving yourself away” saw Lee team up with Nicky Bomba on drums (John Butler Trio, Bomba), and was released quietly onto the scene in 2009.
After some blistering live shows Lee is being heralded by many as the new king of roots/rock. With a unique muting style on an acoustic guitar (he is left-handed but plays right) Lee manages to make one instrument sound like the parts of the whole band. Think QOTSA meets Soundgarden playing the blues on an acoustic to a dance beat.
